In article <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, John Berg <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes >Just starting reading--pictures are great. All the film makers are POB >fans--they didn't have to say so of they weren't. They promise the "sprite" >of the Aubrey-Maturin novels. What is that? And do you believe the movie >makers? > I suppose Preserved Killick could be the sprite, but I'd sooner see him as a goblin.. The film-makers are fortunate in their competition, the film can't be worse than Granada's Hornblower TV Movies. IMO. I shall not be bothering to go to see it. Why should I, I get great pictures and soundtrack every time I open one of the books. -- Peter Millen, boardgamer and boulevardier.
