She thinks that she read the books when she was in the 3rd or 4th grade which would be the early 1920s. I remember reading the "Book of Flanders" but I don't think that is what I am looking for. I'm sorry I don't have any more information. That's all my mother remembers. But, how many of the "facts" that we learned as young children will we remember when we're 90? Heck, how many do we remember now? I'll keep looking. I have some ideas now. If I do find the books, I'll let you know. Joan
