you know... I just went there and found (with a 1 minute click around)
the web pages to be concise and useful.... but then, I'm weird. ;)
When I visit a site, i'm looking for content, not icing.
Sites that trap you in frames, require scripting, and such are
unappealing to me.
Pictures are nice and the site could benefit from some pictures
linked from thumbnails... again... this is a quick browse of the
site... i looked at the ginko tree page... and a few others.
It'd be nice to see what a typical 2 3/4 specimen would look
like. There is a text description... but as they say picture == 1000
words.
My (unsolicited and free to ignore) suggestions:
1: link catalogue description to picture of typical plant of that size.
2: have an "add to order" link for each catalogue order.
2a:perhaps have a "open scratch window" with a large text object
that allows you to cut/paste the description number of the
object. (Which is what i would do were i making an order.)
