> What is happening with the leadership succession? > Iris Well, "leadership" may be a rather strong term. ;-) But continuity is assured. The IBC mailing list is about to become a family-owned enterprise. The Hurd Family (Shelly et. al.) have agreed to take over co-ownership and management of the list. Reiner, of course, will stay on as co-owner and Chief Financial Officer (Goodness what an impressive title! Hope the perks are equal to it.) I'll stay on as an "in-the-background" co-owner/helper for as long as Shelly says he needs me for advice, but will be doing less of the day-to-day list management stuff as time goes on. Some seem to have gotten the impression that once I step down I'm leaving forever. No such luck. I'll be around. I'll just feel happier and easier in taking a few longer trips, and will have a bit more time available for some other projects that have been coming "real soon now" for several years. So, welcome (or commiserations) to the "HurdFam." And MANY thanks to the other folks who volunteered their service to keep the list going. I never doubted that we would have folks willing to step up to bat. -- Jim Lewis - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - Tallahassee, FL -- outgoing (or outgone) Bonsai List manager
