Thanks Jerry.  I did a little poking around on the web and found the same thing
about the wood, that it has no commercial use because it is so soft and has a
tendency to break.  I'll give it a shot, and if it doesn't work after a couple of
years, no big deal.

One thing that is interesting about it is that it has a tendency to discourage
other plants growing around it because of toxins in the bark and leaves.  Some
research is actually being done on it to come up with an organic herbicide.  Guess
I won't have to worry about weeding this bad boy!
