Craig,
Good luck on using this incredibly despised tree. Perhaps similar to the
hatred for the Casuarina in the southern US, and yet it makes fabulous
bonsai if treated properly.
Give it a shot.
Just one suggestion in my handling of this material in the landscape it has
very soft and snappy wood.
