Are there any locations or angles that are most > common in knife accidents? Also, what is the best way of storing the > amputated finger for the best chances of reattachment? Go rent _Four Rooms_. Watch. Enjoy. Remove & reattach pinky according to instructions. Also, one of my sisters sliced three of her fingertips off while attempting to slice a carrot lengthwise. The carrot rolled and the french knife fell home. I watched as she shreiked and held up a blood fountain hand. We put her fingertips in a ziploc bag, then in another bag with ice, and took her to emergency where they were reattached. She suffered nerve damage in the tips and had shooting pains and sensitive scars for years afterward. She might still. Don't know, it happened 20 years ago. fr0glet
