        so, still desiring gorgeous organic plugs even after the erica
skadsen debacle (miss the gossip? read up! groups.google, subject: "who
wants to hear a [very long] story?"), i went searching & found wil with
onestopfreakshop.com. or wjlorganics. or whatever, i don't care what he
calls his company because his fucking plugs are the best fucking thing
ever.

        I SAID EVER. BEST EVER.

        i bought two sets from the man. set one are "trinity void" plugs
like industrial strength makes, but in a shortened length that IS refused
to make, & i selected deep red charte kok wood.

        the second set is something i designed, which i've given
permission to wil to duplicate in an effort to make this awesome guy lots
of money. i'm sure i'm not the only one who still has a skillion post
earrings around though i've long since stretched past being able to wear
them in any hole. well, i had the idea to make what looks like a flat plug
from the front, but is hollowed out in the back & has an 18ga hole drilled
through it. now i can wear my post earrings THROUGH a 1/2" plug, & the
gross butterfly back tucks neatly away inside the wood. i had them made in
ebony.

        i'm not going to expound on the quality or the pricing except to
say i was shocked by both: surprised at once because the price was so LOW,
but shocked again when i received them that the quality was SO high. the
plugs could not be more gorgeous. they are exactly what i wanted.

        & when i say "exactly", i mean it - wil emailed me asking about my
preferences on everything, including flare oversize - & he keeps his
tolerances FAR stricter than anything i'd ever expect with organics. he
sent me CAD drafting jpegs with my custom design all laid out - talk about
going the distance for a client.

        erica skadsen may have the majority of shops, but she's not worthy
to breathe the same air as wil when it comes to customer satisfaction. wil
said he doesn't worry about returns - if someone isn't satisfied, he just
remakes the plugs. but looking at these, i can't imagine someone being
dissatisfied - & we all know i'm a picky bitch. wil said it took him three
tries to make my void plugs to HIS satisfaction, but he still had them
finished on time (one week turnaround!) & he didn't whine & gripe to me
about how i should be paying more since they were a pain in his ass. he
just rose to the challenge of a new design & holy shit they rule.

        did i mention my new plugs rule?

        wil also emailed me pictures of my plugs when they went into the
mail (which i can forward if anyone wants to see them), & in the package
he included a 16ga drill bit, in case i decided i wanted to enlarge the
hole on the post-holder plugs. what a sweetie.
