Looking for Kenshin Substitute

I have just finished watching the entire series on DVD and I can not tell
you how much I enjoyed this series (Not as good after Kyoto arc).

I know this question probably has been asked before. Can anyone recommend
another series as good as Kenshin that have mixed action with such emotional
depth?
