Erm.  With DivX encoding (or similar, such as XviD) I can get about 4
640x480 res - better than VHS, not as good as DVD's best - "1/2 hour" anime
episodes on one CD (NOT DVD)...  on 3 double-sided/hi-cap DVDs (around 8 Gig
or so each?) 26 episodes at that res or betteris not too unreasonable.
