Lena, 'realism' is the *last* thing artists like this (and their 
patrons) want.  While the breasts may be drawn from the 'full-figured' 
model, the waist will be drawn to appear to be 18 inches or so and the 
hips will be a minimum of 38 inches.  There will be no acknowledgement 
that such a thing as a 'ribcage' exists.  The breasts will also defy 
gravity in that they will stand up/out on their own with no support... 
and there will *never* be any sign of a stretch mark anywhere.  She will 
also have a bra equipped with Acme Co.'s patented 'portable hole' 
technology:  she will pull more breast out of the bra than could 
possibly fit in it.

For a great example (or terrible one, depending on your point of view) 
compare the early Dirty Pair Manga done by Adam Warren to the later 
ones.  Early, the DP actually looked like human beings.  Their breasts 
might have been a bit larger than average, but the DP were always drawn 
that way.  By the end of the series, the basic drawing was three 
circles: one for the head and one for each of the breasts.  All three 
circles were basically the same size, roughly that of a basketball.

Charlie (who has seen more than one manga where ne of a woman's breasts 
*wouldn't* fit through a basketball hoop.  No, I don't own them.)
