Digital is digital, drop the original (or a copy of the original) in one side
and the duplicator spits out identical copies.

The going rate for SM/EA in Taiwan (at least in 2000) was $NT 100 (around $3).

In related news my cousin spent some time in Taiwan this summer and told me
bootlegs are now missing from the larger AV stores (the equivalent of Tower,
HMV, etc). He did spot bootlegs in smaller CD shops, but couldn't find out if
they were old stock or new releases.
