The numbers are a bit misleading.  One would not look at the US
ratings for Friends and compare them to the ratings for a Conan
O'Brien, only because one is a prime-time series and the other a
late night program.  Similarly, comparing a Conan with a Wolf's
Rain or Last EXILE would not be apropos.  Much better to break
the list down into sub-groups where morning programs are compared
to other moring programs, afternoon/suppertime programs with
other afternoon/suppertime programs, late night with late night, etc...
