I doubt they cared at all :) It's just a film, considering most of it takes
place in Gaia where it certainly isn't September 1999 I doubt they really
thought about it.

She's at the track stadium, where the Folken seduction scene takes place.

I don't know.  I think it's plausibly all on the same day, although it's
possible that the sunset stadium stuff takes place on a different day from
the rest.

The track stadium at Hitomi's school.

Again, it's the track stadium at Hitomi's school.  We have a "perversion" of
the TV series here, in that the "genki" Hitomi of the TV series was a
high-flying athlete on the track team, whereas in the film she's suffering
so badly from depression that she quit the team.  In both TV series and
movie, the athletics track is from where Hitomi travels to Gaia.
