Whisper of the heart to be released in Region 1 anytime soon?

Hi all,
After watching Whisper of the Heart (Ghibli), I was wondering if
anyone had ANY information about the North American release.  
I have seen it mentioned on a few websites that Disney has the release
rights for it and that puts it in the *Not in my lifetime* catagory.  
Has anyone heard anything about it at all?
