While watching the first half of Tsukihime #8 (and having
recently seen the first 2 episodes of Maburaho*) I was stuck by the
thought that Tsuki could be seen as a harem-horror show. You've got the
young protagonist. You've got the required minimum 3 girls** pulling at
him in 3 directions. Seems like the standard harem cliches.
The 7th episode, where they went to the theme park, seemed out
of place for this series BUT if they wanted to emphasize the harem angle
then it made sense.
*a very generic harem-comedy.
**Granted, his sister has no romantic designs on him but she does try to
prevent him from seeing Arcuied and Ciel.
