Children's anime

I'm relatively new to the world of anime.  I lived in Japan years ago, 
so I'm familiar with the genre in general, but I have no idea what's new 
and current.

I have a couple of small kids who love various animation, so I'd like to 
get some anime DVDs, preferrably the uncut Japanese originals.  I'd 
prefer DVDs with both Japanese and English language tracks.

So, any recommendations for anime suitable for kids ages 3 and 6?  Mild 
violence and nudity is OK; gunplay, graphic violence, and sex is not.
