What's interesting is that when pubic hair was taboo, Japanese models 
and AV actresses shaved it off to avoid showing it. Now that it is 
permissable, all the models retain their pubic hair and show it off 
proudly.

Meanwhile, in the US, where pubic hair hasn't been an issue in decades, 
all the models and AV actresses routinely shave theirs off.
