It's actually refreshing compared to what all I've had to listen to. 
And rereading it makes me remember not to post when I'm tired, as I'll
forget my official list of these.

(To be revised later upon hearing something better)
1. "For Real"  Gensomaden Saiyuki
2. "Twinkle Trick" Rune Soldier Louie
3. "Thesis of a Cruel Angel" Neon Genesis Evangelion
4. "Opening Theme [Princess Nine] (TV Size)" Princess Nine
(I have yet to fast forward through any of those yet upon multiple
watchings)
5. "You Get To Burning" Martian Sucessor Nadesico
(fast forwarded once or twice near the end of the series)

... and that's my top 5 anime opening themes.

I agree that Sakura Wars does go a bit overboard on it's word imagery,
but remind me, which anime uses "Tomorrow" as it's theme.
