First off, I do not bitch about this "every chance I get". I ignore it most
of the time, in fact. But when something like three different threads on the
subject pop up at the same time, I feel a need to make my own voice heard.
Second, I am not "fashionably" anti-fanboy. You may call me
"idealistically", or, if you're feeling mean, "zealously" anti-purist, but
the allegation that I hold these views purely because they are trendy within
my own social clique is not only false, but putrescently so.
