I agree with others about ordering online, Even with shipping, it's often
cheaper, esp since you don;t have stores nearby.

Ok.
All the below comments about series are my opinion, of course. ^_^

Good.

Started out good, then... eh.

Never seen these.

Well, it's all a matter of taste, of course.
The music is done by Kanno Yoko, who's... just wondeful, imo.

FY. Yeah. Wow. Uhh... I think it's best stated this way, in a quote. I
can't recall who said it:
"There are people who don't like FY and think it's deeply flawsed; and
there are poeple who like FY and think it's deeply flawed."
Even many people who consider themselves fans of the show can easily point
out problems. The most glaring one for me is that interesting characters
are pushed into the background so that the show can better highlight the
(rather boring) main couple.
Oh, my God! It's the anime version of _Smallville_! Would that make Lex
"Nuriko"...? ^_^

Spirited Away--By Miyazaki, who also did PM. Haku... <happy sigh>
Escaflowne (the series)--music by Kanno Yoko!
Now and Then, Here and There--Just be ready to be put through the ringer.
It's really intense.
Rurouni Kenshin--There are a lot of thematic similarities to _Trigun_ (RK
came first). Guy who won't kill, the show starts out silly then gets
serious, etc. Some of the first season stuff is dull, but some is great,
and the second season (eps 28-62) is more than worth it. it features a few
great sword fights (Battousai vs. Saitou, Kenshin vs Soujiro [parts 1&2])

Catherine Johnson.

-Ghastly, on seeing Shonen Knife in concert.
