My R1 copy of _Castle in the Sky_ does have a fair number of mis-timed
subtitles -- enough to annoy me, certainly. (I'm trying to think of a
specific instance. I believe there's some substantial mistiming in the
scene where Pazu and Sheeta are falling from the railway, frex.) As for
the dub: I thought James van der Beek miscast as Pazu (he sounded too
late adolescent -- Anna Paquin *just* slid in under the wire suspending
my disbelief in that area), but the rest of the voicework seemed
reasonable enough. I do prefer Terada Minori's interpretation of Muska
to Mark Hamill's, but that isn't to diss Hamill -- he's fine, but I like
Terada better.

Disclaimer: The only dubs I'm really happy with thus far in my
anime-viewing career are _Spirited Away_ and _Fruits Basket_.

Peace,
Liz
