[OT] The face of Cthulhu

You know the world is ending when the face of Cthulhu
starts appearing in animation, like this Saturday's
latest Justice League ep with that Cthulhu-wannabe Ichthultu,
who is even referred to as an Old One
(though disappointingly not nearly as powerful).
Interestingly, Hawkgirl's Thanagorian race used to worship him
but grew out of it millenia ago, leading to an intriguing
conversation with Wonder Woman about atheism and faith
(obviously WW believes in gods - that's her power source).

Anyway, where else has he appeared in anime
besides that iffy scene in a filler Digimon 02 ep?
Do they show the face?  If so, how's the look?
