If it weren't for fansubs....
there would be no anime industry in the US.
For many years that's all there was and alot of
us "old timers" have watched anime in japanese
with no subtitles just because we loved the art form.
Plus there's alot of series that they may never release "officially."

Personally I hate every dub I've ever seen.
Sorry, but nobody can match Belldandy, Shampoo or Lum
no matter how much they try.
