Anime vs. Mangas

i wanted to know which is better between the 2. there are some people
that say that the anime is better because it allows you to actually
get into the series. but then there are people that say that mangas
are better because they are more graphic and the plot is more
detailed. in my oppinoin i think that mangas are people but i would
like to get others oppinion on this topic.
