From the Viacom "V of Doom"

We keep putting down that zooming V from the 70's early 80's
that Viacom used. I found the V's side of the story on a web board.

 Why do you guys hate me? Why do you think
I'm some creation of a guy who was in a foul
mood? I am the Viacom V, the one you keep putting
down. I zoomed in because I was so excited to see
all of you! I wanted to be your friends! Maybe
my approach was a little to extreme, but I'm
not here to hurt you. Please, let's be friends.
