Freshwater community fish, ranked by waste production

I know that goldfish produce the most waste, but was told by a customer at my
lfs that tetras produce a high amount of waste as well**. I wish I'd known, as
I chose to start a tank of mixed tetra breeds. My question to you, then, is
there a ranking of fish by amount of waste they produce?

(**His actually words were: "Tetras are sh!!!y fish."<grin>)
