if you are dripping/pumping into an area of high flow so it gets mixed as soon as it hits the tank there are no problems adding directly to the display. the point of entry for the kalk if close to heaters and pumps will give precipitant build up over time. if you drip next to any pump (in sump or display), it's a good idea to clean the pumps of the precipitant at least every couple months. kc "John" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > I am currently topping off my evaporation with kalk.
