Hello people, My 46G tank has been cycling for about 5 weeks now. About a week and a half ago, algae started growing on the glass, and now all the live rock is pretty brownish, with more algae on the glass. I have used lighting on the tank for about 3 hours a day only. Water from 5 stage RO/DI unit. A few questions: Pictures of the algae to help with my questions http://bighaig.com/algae/algae.htm 1) Is this algae growth bad? Or is this pretty normal for a tank with no critters in it? 2) Is this type of algae bad? If so, what can I do? 3) Will Algae Attack Pack - Ultimate Pack http://liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?siteid=25&pCatId=531 - clean the algae up? Is edible algae for critters? I will be adding these in about a week or so. 4) If Algae pack will not clean it up, what can I do? Thanks. BigHaig
