Yes... he/she won't be all that happy but they will survive without a
school... oh- always add the dechlorinator to the water BEFORE you put it in
the tank. Chlorine affects fish pretty quickly and adding remover after the
water is already in the tank is just stressing fish unecessarily... and
killing them!
