Platies, Corys, Mini-Plec, Ghost shrimp, ADFs and a Betta... sure, might
work.  The odd Betta will make a meal out of an ADF and shrimp, but the
uncertainty is part of the hobbyist experience ;~)  The shrimp is most at
risk, so add them with the lights out, into a tank with lots of shelter.
