Unfortunately I believe I have an ongoing outbreak of TB in my tank. Over the last few months I have lost 2 Danios and today have quarantined another with the same symptoms. It has a sunken belly and it has the same spine twist I noticed on the others. It is eating sporadically but otherwise looks like it is having trouble swimming, fins are all frayed, etc. I euthanized the other two but had not diagnosed TB until the last one. I have read that Kanacyn is the only medication which *may* work. Should I attempt it? With the others, once the belly sunk in and the spine twisted they went downhill fast and it wasn't long until they would not eat and looked very ill. I don't want to just euthanize this one right away but with the track record I have here, do not want to prolong it's suffering either. More disturbing is, in the attempt to net this one took a good long look at the remaining two and it seems as if their bellies are looking somewhat sunken in. The only other fish inhabitant is a female Betta which looks fine. Anyone had any positive experience treating TB? For the people here who have more experience than me, what would you do? As always, any input, advise or guidance is greatly appreciated. These were my first community fish and I feel terrible for them and quite helpless to help them.
