Re: loud wisper filter



Not sure where the noise is.
I pull out the tube and clean the blades (is that the impeller?) with a
tooth brush and clean down into the hole where the shaft of it goes.
Its not too bad right now, when the TV is on, I don't notice it. However
when I got it, the loudest noise was the water flowing. Now its sort of a
humming sound. Picking it up and isolating it from the glass does not make a
difference.
Maybe I'm over reacting, but want to make sure I'm cleaning it right.
IS there a better tool than a toothbrush to clean it. Kind of tired of
getting fish smell on my teeth in the morning  :P
