Not sure where the noise is. I pull out the tube and clean the blades (is that the impeller?) with a tooth brush and clean down into the hole where the shaft of it goes. Its not too bad right now, when the TV is on, I don't notice it. However when I got it, the loudest noise was the water flowing. Now its sort of a humming sound. Picking it up and isolating it from the glass does not make a difference. Maybe I'm over reacting, but want to make sure I'm cleaning it right. IS there a better tool than a toothbrush to clean it. Kind of tired of getting fish smell on my teeth in the morning :P David "High Flight" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > >> It was really quiet when I got it.
