It depends on the date. The 19th Century ones had a pedal powered
generator, so your mate had to sit on a bike-like contraption
and pedal the generator that powered the dildo.

The 18th Century ones, widely known as the Ben Franklin model,
involved kites and lightning and were highly dangerous.
