I really hope our discussions allow me to see these images. When members of
the group post their pictures, I truly enjoy viewing them, not only for the
educational opportunity, but also for the joy in seeing these special
things. I am working on getting a little web space of my own, and hopefully
I can show some of the things I have.

In all the work I do, I have always found those seriously in the trade to be
wonderful, collegial people. In particular, when a good discussion gets
going, and knowledgeable peers contribute, even in this electronic forum
there is a sense of  espirit de corps. My work takes me away from the
ability to access the internet for periods of time, and I find I miss
checking in with this group to see what issue or item is being discussed. A
few days ago, I knew little about Irish long case clocks. Now I have at
least enough knowledge to ask the right questions to learn more.  Thanks
