I'd contact the buyer, and tell them that they sent you a non-working clock. You can have a replacement movement (even a newer- type quartz unit) put it, and those movements aren't expensive. But I'd leave it to a professional. You don't want a non-working "decorating" clock, and you don't want to buy another that doesn't work either. Kris
