Hi, Jim...

I'm doing the same thing. I finally found an old catalog that I had with
some supplies for cleaning and re-framing. Check this out:

http://www.archivalsuppliers.com

If you enter "cleaning" in there, you'll find several pads and things
you can use to clean your print. You can also gently rub very dirty
areas with art gum erasers. They even have videos on wet and dry
cleaning methods. I wouldn't try wet unless you really know what you're
doing.

I wouldn't glue the print to anything. In this catalog, you will find
things like hinges, photo corners and mounting edges, as well as
appropriate adhesives. You can even buy a press if your print is wavy.

You might want to just order their print catalog - there are lots of
good tips and illustrations in there.

You might want to invest in an acid-free mat and backing before
re-framing. Archival Suppliers also sells a spray called "We'i To,"
which will de-acidify old paper, and instructions on how to use it.

Hope this helps!

Tracy
