canning jar ??

I have a jar that reads Mason's Patent Nov.30th 1858 it a real lite blue
almost clear and it won't stand up because the bottom is out set so it
rocks and there are 5 glass dots on the bottom also. How do i tell if
its a real old one and not a fake? It is a 1 qt size. I can send pic.
