The above is one of the main reasons I became interested in the hard
sciences in grammar school, and went into math instead of
geography.....Trying to remember all these volatile countries that change
their borders, names and national symbols whenever they have a new regime
was just too much for me to handle....The geography of the 1950's is almost
completely different from that of today, but all the algebra I learned back
then is just as true today as it was then.........
