<<Ok, so....which is it? One filter for each of the keys?>> I have explored this extensively with mine since I received it... it seems like this MUST be true. <<Non-resonant?>> It has one filter control for all of the filters, and it IS resonant. <<Ok And three resonant filters that get prioritized?>> There is the Resonator, which basically boosts three different user definable points... and it'll sweep through them either with MG2 or whatever you patch. <<From that grammar that's the only logical conclusion I can arrive at. Telling whether there's resonance on more than three voices at a time could be a challenge...>> Well, see... it's not like a resonating filter... it's well... more like the Novachord. Really more like merely a 3 band equalizer that you can sweep through. The sound is VERY cool, and I think it's one of the coolest functions of the synth. <<Meanwhile, it says 12 VCO's in the tech info?? duhhh...that I'm have real problems with. They just said 48 vco's above. now they are saying only 1/4th that number. What gives?? Hmm.>> 12 Oscillators, in True Divide-Down Tradition. : ) <<No release I see on the envelope generators. One might ask why....as in they wouldn't have done that likely unless it was a massive shortcut that would shed light perhaps on the other questions we ponder here. So I take it you don't get a lot of slowly rising/falling type sounds out of this one then?>> Yes, the ONE weakness I find in this synth... the envelope generator has a crappy release aspect... a small switch with "damped," "half damped," and "release," Which are clipped, not as clipped, and a little too long, in that order. It has a "hold" which only works when the attack is set over 7... fun, but weird. The good thing is that there is another EG, the "General EG." It has a little more release control, but then you're sending all notes through one EG and you get the same problem Deltas have... one EG for 48 notes creates a retriggering problem. BUT, using both EGs together with the interesting ability to choose how many notes TRIGGER the second EG ends up being cooler than if it just had a normal ADSR. <<Meanwhile, I got a polymoog today with a few problems. That one'll be fun to look at I'm sure. Have to pick up in Oakland the first of next year it appears.>> I'd be interested in hearing how the repair of that goes! Marc
