> To the OP, I recommended the CD entitled "Creator of the Stars" by > Pomerium. Also the compilation CD "Agnus Dei" (on the Erato label > with the blue cover) is quite good. I personally like Arvo Part > (especially his "Te Deum"), but he's may be more of an acquired > tasted. Lastly there's a CD with music by Jean Richafort entitled > "Requiem in memoriam Josquin Desprez" (Harmonia Mundi with the > Hueglas-Ensemble (Paul Van Vevel dir.)). Thanks, I checked out the "Agnus Dei" CD on Amazon. It seems along the lines of what I'm looking for, even though there are accompanied tracks, and has pieces from the Classical period (which I don't mind, but I am more familair with them). It seems like that might be a good way to go for me -- to find CDs from choirs who perform a broad repertoire, with good taste and good performances. Thanks for the recommendations.
