Violin bow - Adolf Kaufmann

I was in a Violin maker's store and was shown some mid price bows
$250-$300 made from (I guess) low grade permambucco with the bow maker's name
"Adolf Kaufmann' stamped on the wood near the frog.  Is there such a
maker? I did a google search and did not find anything such maker.
Are these bows really German or are they made in China?

Has anyone heard of these bows?
