what struck me, was the early shows of the tour, how dylan, wanting to be
able to play smaller halls, would not announce them.

in the late 70s through much of the 80s, it was big halls, big tours, oft
lackluster shows

since the never ending tour, it's small halls again but dylan doesn't have to
use a fake name to not sell out. seems like some kind of plan somehow >>
