Re: US & Euro audiences

I was at a great show in Dublin on 18.11.03, the Irish crowd gave it loads BETWEEN THE SONGS. I've heard a recording that confirms it. This is typical of Irish audiences. You only have to attend a Ryan Adams, Frames or Damien Rice gig in Ireland (if you can get tickets after the first ) to realise how important music (songwriting) is to the Irish.

My question to you [EMAIL PROTECTED] is:
Have you ever been in an Irish or Italian audience or were you just generalising?

And at any particular show you will have varying degrees of quality in

the

crowds.

If you're saying that US audiences are not more noisy and inattentive than other audiences, I'll say you haven't been listening very closely and shouldn't be correcting others' honest opinions.

I take it you've never been to a show in Italy or Ireland eh? Or aren't
they considered part of Europe. Maybe you're honest opinion just needs to
be based on a bit wider experience.
In my experience the Canadians, English and Germans tend to be a bit
quieter. But even that's a generalization. A lot of times it depends on if
booze is sold at the venue, or if it's GA, regardless of the country.
