You give Weberman entirely too much credit. I don't know of any contribution he's made whatever. He hasn't increased my understanding or appreciation of Dylan's music. I've never read any of his writing or read anyone citing his writings. His one function was to chase Dylan out of New York City so he rates mention in the biographies. He's simply symptomatic of how weird the sixties got.
