As TRISTAN might answer, "YEARNING is not enough!"
Yearning for robust, dramatically nuanced dinging?
HeldentenorKennethLane "Americana" Concert[11/24 Montville NJ Public
library Auditorium]
The telephone number for the Montville venue [90 Horseneck Road, Montville, NJ]
is (973) 402-0900 for reservations, the tickets are free, first come, first
seated. Telephoning is recommended so that they can contact the audiences if
there are any changes or traffic detours, etc.
I am performing this music to enthuse music lovers with live performance of the
American song literature that may otherwise be unavailable to them outside of
recordings. Also, I am looking forward to the premiere of my opera
"Shakespeare" in New York on Saturday April 23, 2005, S's 441st birthday
anniversary.
The New Life Expo concert at the New Yorker Hotel [34th St. & 8th Av, NYC] is
open to all who pay the general admission of $15 on Sunday, October 26th.
The concert is at 6- 8 PM..
Their telephone number is 800-928-6208 outside of NYC and 516-897-0900 in NYC.
The selections of "Americana--Timeless American Melodic Favorites" are
well-known to many over age 20. These anthologies sung by a
heroic-viced tenor [heldentenor] especially where patriotic or
derring-do music is involved are given a new life. Audiences are
hearing real singing with drama and nuance, rare in today's music world.
My song sagas "Americana" [a dozen programs of about 28-40 selections
each] and my "Neapolitan-Viennese-Latino-Irish 'Chestnuts' " [ten
programs of like length as the "Americana"] are scheduled for concert
performance in public venues in New Jersey and New York.
On Monday, November 24th, 7 to 9 PM, at the Montville Public Library
Auditorium, 90 Horseneck Road, Montville, NJ. I will sing the second of
my "Americana" series song sagas with keyboardists Jennifer Cece Bellon
and Jake Kulik.
On Sunday, October 26th from 6 to 8 PM, at the New Life Expo at the New
Yorker Hotel, 34th Street and 8th Avenue, New York I will sing a similar
