Re: Large Volume CD Racks?

<< I haven't seen a recent post on this topic, so I thought I would ask to see
if anyone has any suggestions for a CD rack to hold approximately 1000 CDs.

I'm looking for a basic bookcase (though with CD-sized shelves) that isn't too
extravagent.  Any good links to sites or stores who sell these? Any good
suggestions on storing so many CDs??>>

i was in the exact same place a year ago, did all the research i could, and
found nothing but overpriced, unsatisfactory solutions.  at a fraction of the
cost, i bought a bunch of 1/4" thick 4'x5" lucite 'shelves' and cheapo metal
brackets and now have a wall that's far better than anything i could've hoped
for.   this solution is entirely unobtrusive, does the job wonderfully, though
there are things i learned in the process of putting them up that would've made
the final result just a bit better.  i got all my stuff custom-cut on canal st.
