Well I certainly have a lot to consider this weekend after all the thoughtful replies. Today I spoke to someone who once worked for the store where I bought some of my CDs - it turns out they often re-wrapped the "store" copies (those for instore play) and sold them as new! So I opened all the CDs I bought that had the shrinkwrap-machine style wrapping rather than the folded factory-wrap. Thank God I did. Most were fine and unused, but a couple did have scuffs. Why those dirty rats!!!! I only pray I haven't inadvertently sold a used copy as new! Well of course I'd give a full refund and pray I don't get negged. I was bemoaning Amazon's screwed-up uplisting as of late, but actually it saved my bacon, giving me time to re-evaluate my CDs before most could sell. So hopefully my first big newbie error was nipped in the bud. I will be MUCH more careful in buying "new" CDs. Thanks, Sophie
