I like Rysanek but agree about Serafin.  I also find the orchestral playing
surprisingly unpolished.  But the whole thing is too tame.

Solti positively races through the score!  I agree about all the singers. 
There's even a passage in the last act where Cossutta and Solti are out of
phase by about a measure for about four bars.  Don't know how that got past
everybody at the recording sessions.
