The spelling is my own. I thought it literally menat old shits. But I
find no problem with Casal's playing. His musicality overshadows his
technical liabilities. How can you not like the use of none or little
vibrato. Bottom line, Horozowski's playing is worth the price of
admission. Too bad he did not record it with Brain or Chambers or Bloom
etc.
What I don't like is Starker's Mozart Third Horn Concerto which I put on
the same CD.
Sigfried should have said to Starker, "We don't do that here"
The Schumann Adagio and Allegro with the same duo is okay too. At the
White House. I have it from a White Horse Souce.
